Meet our principal
Betty Cortina-Weiss is a strategic advisor and consultant empowering organizations to advance their missions through the development of strategic frameworks and communications.
Working with nonprofits focused on community and economic development, she collaborates with leaders, CEOs and Boards of Directors to develop mission, vision, values and positioning statements, strategic goals, tactics and action plans, and helps guide the creation of storytelling assets closely aligned to strategy.
She began her career as a journalist and editor, writing for and helping launch some of the country's largest media platforms including People, People en Español, O, The Oprah Magazine, Latina, and NBC Latino. She is a graduate of the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications, where years later she returned as a visiting professor. An avid cook who also holds a Culinary Arts degree from Johnson & Wales University, she lives in South Florida and serves clients across the country.
